2012 Hitting & Pitching Camps
HITTING CAMP
The University of Northern Iowa HITTING CAMP is designed for participants wanting to improve their hitting mechanics. The camp will include drills that will correct common faults in hitters’ swings. The camp will also feature video analysis emphasizing main topics of hitting. The HITTING CAMP will last 2 (two) hours and each session will be limited to 20 participants due to space availability. There will be 3 (three) specific dates and times for participants to choose from and the time slots will be filled on a first-come, first-serve basis. Be sure you sign up at your earliest convenience!

PITCHING CAMP
The University of Northern Iowa PITCHING CAMP is designed for pitchers of all ability levels to improve their pitching mechanics. Participants will receive instruction from UNI pitching coach, Julie Gerdes, and will be taught basic mechanics for different pitches, drills to improve mechanics, and some of UNI’s very own pitching workouts. The PITCHING CAMP will last 2 (two) hours and each session will be limited to 5 (five) participants due to space availability. There will be 3 (three) specific dates for participants to choose from and the slots will be filled on a first-come, first-serve basis. Be sure you sign up at your earliest convenience!

Location: The Hitting and Pitching Camps will be held in the UNI Softball Hitting Facility, located at 9301 University Avenue, Cedar Falls, IA 50613.
What to Bring: ALL Participants should bring tennis shoes, bat, and glove.
Refund Policy: Refunds will ONLY be given if we receive written notice from a physician stating that the athlete is physically unable to participate in the camp. If this occurs, a $25.00 administration fee will be deducted form your refund. Fees apply registering online and are not refundable.
